Types of Reports

What type of standard reports does Thredd provide?

Thredd provides the following standard reports to Program Managers:

  • Clearing Report (transaction data)

  • Non-Clearing Report (transaction data)

  • Enhanced reports containing Level 2 and 3 data

  • Fleet EDS reports

  • Balance reports


For Issuers and Self-Issuers, Thredd provides two additional reports:
• Fee Collection Report
• Quarterly Management Report (QMR)

What is a Type 1 report?

A Type 1 report includes various reports in the following categories:

Report Category

Description

CardAccount

Contains details of cards that are associated with an account of a card program. This report includes records that are generated when an account or card is new, or has been updated.

Customers

Includes details of the cardholders of a card program. This report includes records that are generated when an account or card is new, or has been updated. It can also include entries where customer details have been updated.

Transactions

Contains information on the transaction.

TxnSummary

Includes aggregated data for each transaction type, including the movement of money as debit or credit.

Lookup

Details of codes that are used in the reports.

 

These are bespoke reports that are designed to meet you specific sector or regional reporting requirements.

What is the format of each Type 1 Report?

A Type 1 report is in the .txt format.

Do reports expose the full card PAN?

Reports can include the full card PAN if this is required by the BIN Sponsor. The Card Programs for the BIN Sponsor must be compliant with PCI DSS.

How are reports provided to customers?

Thredd provides your daily reports via sFTPClosed Secure File Transfer Protocol. A popular unencrypted method of transferring files between two remote systems. SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol, or Secure File Transfer Protocol) is a separate protocol packaged with SSH that works in a similar way but over a secure connection.. This is on a push only basis.

Are reports encrypted?

Yes. Thredd encrypts reports using the PGP standard.

Do the reports include encryption keys?

Yes. Two separate encryption keys exist for the incoming and outgoing reports. Each key is encrypted using the PGP standard.

How long does Thredd archives reports for?

Thredd archives historical files for up to 4 months. For access to historical files, raise a JIRA request.
