Country and Currency Support

Cards can be issued in your local Country and Currency. Note that each Country and Currency combination must be set up as a separate card product in our systems. For details, see our Key Concepts Guide > Setting up a Program with Thredd.

Language Support

Thredd card fields and virtual card images can be configured in your preferred language.

Card services such as IVR and SMS can be customised to the language of your cardholders. For more information, see: Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Mobile Text Messaging (SMS).

Services such as 3D Secure (Cardholder Authentication) can be configured to the languages supported by your card programme. See Cardholder Authentication (3D Secure).

Thredd API (REST and SOAP Web services) can support string field characters in any language. (String characters must be in the ASCII range of 33 to 122. Some special characters may be removed from input fields. See String Cleaning and Approved Characters.)

Local Card Manufacturers

Thredd has integrated connections to local card manufacturers (card Bureaus) globally. For more information, see Supported Card Manufacturers.

If your preferred card manufacturer is not listed, please contact us to discuss. We can integrate your card manufacturer on request.

Issuers/BIN Sponsors

Thredd has existing partnerships with over 95 issuers (BIN Sponsors). Please contact us to discuss your issuing requirements. We can provide you with details of Issuers in your region who are integrated with our systems. You can use the services of one of these Issuers or set up for self-issuing.

SMS Messaging Service

The regions and countries supported are determined by those supported by Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS). For a list of these, see: Supported Regions and countries – Amazon Simple Notification Service.
